What is a digital download? Digital downloads are mixes you get in MP3 form instead of receiving a physical CD in the mail. You are emailed a special download link immediately after purchase. The special link will expire after two days and has a limited number of allowable clicks to ensure only you have access to the item. It is very important that you enter in your correct email address during checkout. What are the benefits? A digital download gives you instant access to your mix if you would rather not wait for a regular mail delivery. Also, all digital downloads are $1 cheaper than getting a CD mailed to you. How can I tell if a mix is available as a digital download? This is best suited if you plan to use an iPod or similar device to listen. If you burn a CD with the single MP3 file, the tracks will not be separated and you will not be able to jump from song to song. The ‘Single File’ option is good if you do not care about having the songs individually selectable. Why should I select ‘Multiple Files’? This is best if you plan to burn your own CD and want to keep the ability to jump from song to song. When burning your CD, make sure you eliminate pauses between songs. This is an option in your CD burning software. I purchased a digital download but where is the email with my special download link? Please make sure you add orders@aerobicstunes.com as an approved email contact. This will prevent the email from being blocked and treated as junk email. Check inside your spam folder. What program do you recommend for burning CDs? If you are experiencing problems with your existing burning method, I recommend Apple’s iTunes. It’s a free program and you can visit apple.com for more information. I read that Windows Media Player is prone to problems when creating CDs and I don’t recommend it. Remember to set your burning program to eliminate pauses between songs when burning multiple song files. How do I quickly burn a CD with iTunes? Click “File” then select “New Playlist.” Add files to your new playlist by using Windows Explorer to drag and drop files into the middle of the iTunes window. Now click “Burn Disc” in the bottom right corner of iTunes. Change “Gap Between Songs” to “none.” Keep “Audio CD” selected as the “Disc Format” and press “Burn.”
